The Cornyval Parade is a Texas Tradition. Floats, marching units, bands and just plain folks come from all over south Texas to participate in the parade. The parade will kick off at 9:30 AM Saturday May 3. The parade will start in old downtown Helotes and proceed down the southbound lane of Bandera to Leslie Rd and to the Cornyval Grounds.
Come see the Float bearing Miss Helotes and her Court. The most beautiful and talented group of young ladies in the world, bar none.

Come early to find your spot and have a tailgate party.

“Contact Diane Wooton, Parade Coordinator, at (210) 695-3320 or E-Mail to obtain a Parade Entry Packet.  Persons interested in participating in the parade need to have their entry form submitted no later than Friday, April 18, 2008.  A written confirmation of receipt of all parade entries will be mailed.  If you submitted a Parade Entry Form & have not received written confirmation back by April 25, 2008 please contact the Parade Coordinator at the numbers above.  You will need to present your confirmation to a parade lineup Volunteer the morning of the parade.  You will not be issued a lineup number without your written confirmation.”
